❄️ Frost Giant Behemoth — Raid Guide
⚔️ Recommended Setup
- Mandatory: Be online 30 minutes before the scheduled start (exact date/time TBD by leadership).
- Troops: Balanced raid — tanks to hold position, ranged for damage, exactly 10 Cavalry assigned for Manastone duty in phase 2.
- Formation: Move as one unit behind icicles; only designated players step out when marked.
- Key: Icicle placement wins or loses the fight — never stack icicles or block lanes.
🧭 Phase 1 — DPS & Icicles
- Frost Giant targets 2–3 legions with a blue ground circle.
- An icicle spawns at your position after a short delay — move early so it lands where the raid needs it.
- Boss attacks overlap with icicle mechanics — treat telegraphs as higher priority than meter.
Icicle rules
- Never place icicles on top of each other.
- Leave clear paths for the raid to rotate.
- Bad placement = blocked allies and unnecessary deaths.
Dodge priority
- Red rectangle → move immediately.
- Red circle → ice ball — step out.
- Mechanics > DPS at all times.
Phase transition
- A massive attack is coming — hide behind an icicle in the blue safe zone.
✔ Goal: Clean icicle layout, everyone alive into phase 2.
🟡 Phase 2 — Call of the Ancient
- The Giant gains 100% defense (damage reduction).
- Only the 10 designated Cavalry collect Manastones.
- Each stone removes 10% of that defense buff; at 0%, full damage resumes.
Everyone else
- Stay grouped behind one icicle.
- When a player is marked, they move in front of the stack as called.
- When that icicle breaks, the whole group moves together to the next safe icicle.
- No spreading — stragglers die.
💎 Strategy: Cavalry focus stones only; the raid is a single blob behind cover until defense is stripped.
💚 Healing Window
- After phase 2, Mana Stones spawn (Healing Manastone window).
- Ranged units heal first when leadership calls it.
- Tank pulls the Giant away from the pile so the raid can collect safely.
- Use the breather to reset — phase 1-style mechanics return next.
✔ Goal: Top off lightly wounded units and reposition before the next cycle.
⏰ Enrage Timer
- 8 minutes after battle starts, Glacial Fissures enrages the Frost Giant — Groundspike will instantly kill Legions still inside the Lair.
- Plan DPS and mechanics so the fight does not reach this state.
🚨 Time limit: Treat 8 minutes as a hard cap unless your raid has the DPS to end earlier.
📌 Absolute Rules
- Do not stack icicles.
- Cavalry only pick stones in phase 2.
- Move as one unit — no solo heroes.
- Mechanics > DPS > ego.
✅ Victory Condition
- Icicles spaced for movement and blue-zone hides on big hits.
- Cavalry clears the 100% defense layer without others stealing stones.
- Raid heals during the Manastone window and re-enters phase 1 cleanly.
- Boss dies before 8-minute enrage.
