Resurgence Map Pack Is Out For XBOX 360

The Resurgence map pack for the XBOX 360 has just been released. It consists of 5 maps for $1200 MSP. That’s 3 new maps and 2 classic maps from Call Of Duty 4. Here is a rundown of the maps as described on XBOX.com.
“The best-selling Xbox 360 game of all time gets even bigger with more new content, first on Xbox LIVE! The Resurgence Pack delivers five epic multiplayer maps: “Carnival,” an abandoned amusement park with a variety of unique vantage points; “Fuel,” a massive oil refinery with extremely long sightlines; “Trailer Park,” a maze-like mobile estate surrounded by war-torn debris. Two legendary maps from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare return more detailed than ever, including “Strike,” a large urban center in the desert; and “Vacant,” a fast-paced Russian office complex with few places to take cover. ” The maps weigh in at 359.51mb just so you know how much hard drive space you will need.
I’ll have a review and some videos up tomorrow. So far so good on that maps. I suggest you buy them if you’re a fan of COD and if you’re here that’s a pretty safe assumption. Free Night Vision Goggles For Your Avatar

There is a quick link for you guys so you can get your night vision goggles for your avatar for free. It’s a little gift to make up for the Stimulus Pack launch mixup. It’s not much. Especially since we just payed $15 for the Stimulus Map Pack. Which is totally worth it. I’ll have my full review of the map pack up soon. I’ve been enjoying my time with them though I can say that much at this point.

Stimulus Package Map Pack Out March 30th

Infinity Ward has announced the details for the upcoming Stimulus Pack. It will include 3 new maps and 2 classic maps. Here is the description of from the Marketplace page that was briefly up.

It’s shaping up to be a great map pack and it’s going to be 1200MSP I was hoping that it would be 800MSP like previous map packs on the system. Especially since I already purchased the two old maps when I bought COD4. But I think of it as a 90 minute movie and a medium drink. It’s $3 a map and for the amount of playtime we will get out of them it’s still a great deal. 2 weeks left til release and just in time to fight back some of the mapathy we’re going though. Deal of the week: 50% off CoD 4′s Variety Map Pack

With just 10 days to go until Modern Warfare 2 Microsoft has placed the variety map pack from COD4 on sale. It’s a great deal if you haven’t picked the map pack up. But the timing isn’t so great in my opinion. They should have permanently lowered them a few months ago, But I’m not going to poo on this deal too much as it’s still a great deal. So go get your map pack while it’s on sale.

Map Pack 3 Is Out

Well it’s here folks and I’m going to have full coverage of the map pack including tons of exclusive videos. Hints and tips and whatever else I can think of. I’m going to get going on that now. The map pack is 559 MB and its 800 MS points.

Map Pack 3

It’s less than 24 hours til the release of Map Pack 3 just wanted to give this reminder so that you can get you points if needed. I already have mine locked and loaded for as soon as the map pack is released. It’s $9.99 on psn or 800 MS points. Which is a great value for the 4 map packs you’re getting.

World At War Map Pack 3 in August

Wow, Treyarch have really dedicated themselves to really supporting this game. Third Map Pack in 8 months. Major props to them as it’s rare to see a game get this kind of support these days. Outside of the Halo series not many console games have gotten this amount of support. We will again be getting 4 maps and the names are Battery,Revolution and Breach with the Zombie Map being “Der Riese” where we switch back to blasting Nazi zombies. Check out a few pics after the jump.

As always i’m super excited about this as the other two map packs have been wonderful. Here are a few pics that have been released. Now we just have to wait for more and i’m sure we will get more info on the zombie map pack via gametrailers as that is what they have done the last few time.

Battery

An armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons, “Battery” places soldiers on a mid-sized map based on Fort Drum (El Fraile Island) in the Philippines. Expect plenty of areas to hide and heavy close quarters combat!

Breach

Overwhelm the enemy in “Breach,” set in Berlin’s overcast and crowded city streets surrounding the historic Brandenburg Gate. Only the fittest will survive in this fast-paced, dense battlefield!

Revolution

“Revolution” pits soldiers against each other in Russia’s cold city streets and large factory environment. Keep your fingers warm, your gun loaded, and your head low through this sniper-friendly territory!

Der Riese

The undead horde approaches! Fight for your life in “Der Riese” (Zombie Factory), an all-new Zombie map set in a secret Nazi research facility featuring the Pack A Punch Machine, a device capable of upgrading weapons at the touch of a button. Use the teleporters to escape the vicious Hell Hounds and pray that the Wunderwaffe will appear before it’s too late. This map includes 10 new Achievements/Trophies.

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 further expands the awesome COD multiplayer experience with four brand new maps. Fight for ocean territory in “Battery,” an armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons. Watch out for sniper fire as you defend Russia’s most coveted resource in “Revolution,” and keep a sharp eye out through the dense, overcast city streets in “Breach,” set at Berlin’s historic Brandenburg Gate. Zombies return in all their undead glory with “Der Riese” (Zombie Factory), a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack-A-Punch Machine. Map Pack 2 is available for download now

Just wanted to give a heads up that you can now download Map Pack 2 on the Xbox live. It’s a 800 Microsoft Points and it’s a 458mb download so make sure you start downloading it asap before people get back from work and the whole service slows down. I’ll make a bunch of videos of the new map pack and in a few days have a full review. Here is a quick vid showing the download process from this morning. New COD:WAW Maps in June

Woohoo, Unlike Infinity ward and their lack of updates for Modern Warfare with only one map pack. We’re already getting our second map pack for World at war in June. We’re going to be getting four new maps.

“Banzai” – a bright jungle map featuring a waterfall and hidden caves.

“Corrosion” face down your enemy in a shattered train yard.

“Sub Pens” wipe the monsoon rain from your eyes as you struggle over a bombed-out submarine base.

“Shi No Numa” (Zombie Swamp) featuring Perk machines, the deadly new Wunderwaffe DG-2, new Achievements / Trophies… and flaming Hell Hounds!

Talk about taking care of their fans. I’m sure Map Pack 1 selling one million copies in it’s first week was some extra motivation for them though. Keep up the great work Treyarch as long as you continue to pump out these updates I’ll keep buying.
